This week and Christmas info

Hopefully everyone of you got my Google calendar invite for the worship team. I would like us to continually use this as a place for not only myself to post important dates and times throughout the year, but also for yourself to write in availability, when you're gone or want a week off, etc.
I put the time of our Christmas Eve service as well as two possible rehearsals for that week (next week!), Tues. and Thursday. I would like to rehearse for sure on Tues. if that works for everyone and, if necessary, we will have Thur. as a backup rehearsal time as well.
I believe we also rehearsed the morning of Christmas Eve and then met like 45min before service (that would be 4:15 this year). If that works for this year (I'm not sure of people's work schedule), let me know.

Here is this week's list...
The Angel Gabriel
The King Shall Come
Psalm 80 Lord Make us Turn to You
Here I Am to Worship
What Child is This
While Shepherds Watch
O Come, O Come, Emmanuel

I am confused. I thought we were to check the blog for information. So now I have to sign for an account with google, and check both the blog and the calendar for updates; And how do I see Your calendar by signing up?

The blog will still be used for lengthier info, i.e. song lists, special instructions, etc., but the calendar will be a good way for all of us to keep track of our schedules. I will be sure to let you all know on the blog if there is important info on the calendar. And I'm pretty sure if you can comment in this blog you already have a Google account, but I may be wrong. Since I "invited" you all to the calendar, it will pop up when you sign in to Google calendar.

I will do so, but I still don't understand - why not just put everything in one place??? You have to enter the information on the calendar, then tell me on the blog to look at the calendar. Why nor just put it on the blog? Why complicate things with 2 places for information?

there's no place on the calendar to put song information, and trying to put dates on the blog doesn't make sense. It's really not that difficult Dolly, no different than checking your calendar at home.
